Orgone Drum Cloudbusting
Orgon Drum Cloudbusting is an experimental, full-voice synthesizer in an 18HP Eurorack format, designed for discovering sounds through experimentation rather than traditional synthesis. It offers a wide range of different sounds and has its own patch bay, allowing you to connect different cables between the circuits and create complex interactions. Every patch can change the behaviour of the instrument, producing unexpected rhythms, drones, textures, and electronic sounds. The module is based on the engine of the original Cloudbusting, but it does not sound exactly the same. The new version has a more open, raw, and unpredictable character, giving it a voice of its own. The device also uses a real Vactrol for part of its control, adding a physical, organic response to the circuit. It is produced in a small limited edition, making each unit part of a small experimental run. The best way to understand what it can do is to hear it in action—check the demonstration video and listen to how the sound changes as the patch cables are moved between different points. Only 18HP wide, but capable of creating a surprisingly large world of sound.
