MOTORGENERATOR — SORTE MULD A unique sound generator, handmade by Sorte Muld, with only 20 units ever made. The Motorgenerator creates an electromagnetic field through the movement of its motor. A coil captures the resulting oscillations, which are then sent through a filter and into a multi-FX sound processor featuring simmer, delay, reverb, and distortion. The result is a beautiful, organic harmonic sound — somewhere between electronics, machinery, resonance, and drone. There is also the possibility to control the motor speed via CV (control voltage), opening up an incredible range of evolving textures and deep, hypnotic drone sounds.
